The Mirettes win again!
John Ratcliff was on a panel of judges again. This time at the Strode Theatre, in a competition organised by Crispin School of Street, Somerset. 10 bands battled it out with The Mirettes ending up as the eventual winners. This is the group who have recently appeared in Joshua Jones' latest video and who are being watched closely by The Sprint Music Label. John declared his interest in the local band before judging commenced but even with his abstention they came up trumps and took the top prize.
Chairman of the Judges was the legendary Micheal Eavis, founder of the Glastonbury Festival, and he and John were joined by breakfast show presenters Laura and Ian from Orchard FM.
